BookPreview processes account, catalog and verification information to operate an independent publishing catalog.
Accounts and catalog
We store your email, profile, authentication records, submitted book details and public publishing information. A session cookie keeps you signed in. Hosting security logs may include IP addresses and request times.
Private evidence
Verification files are encrypted outside the public website, scanned locally for malware and accessible only to the owner and authorized administrators. We record access and decisions. Files are deleted 30 days after a final decision or withdrawal. Cases needing changes close after 90 days of inactivity, followed by the 30 day deletion period. Decisions and audit records remain while a catalog record exists and for up to 12 months afterward. Deleted evidence cannot be reviewed again without a new upload. See the verification policy.
Documentary verification records
We publish evidence categories, material source categories, provider confirmation methods, version labels, review dates and outcomes for individual works. Personal identification, supplier names, contractual counterparty details and private file paths are not public. Private references, file fingerprints and review notes remain restricted to administrators. Separately maintained manuscript archives are managed by the operator; the 30-day upload deletion period applies to files submitted through this website.
Email and providers
We use an email delivery provider for account verification and may use Google sign-in if you choose it. We do not send manuscript evidence to AI services or third-party scanners.
